A bit about Richard

Just in case anyone's interested

I'm Originally from Seattle

Well. Sort of. Make that Bellevue, but it's always easier to just say "Seattle" when asked.

I still love the Pacific Northwest, especially traveling throughout the San Juan Islands and the Inside Passage of British Columbia, as I was fortunate enough to do a lot while growing up.

Nowadays you'll find me in Boise, Idaho

Why you may ask? Simple. It's a fantastic lifestyle.

I routinely travel to work with clients in other cities and I certainly do a ton of icon and layout design remotely, in addition to web development.

Never has the need to be "geographically close" been lower than it is now. It's a wonderful world!

What about work experience?

From 1998-2002 I was in college at Colorado and Washington. During that time I ran a Marine Detailing firm with a friend and also enjoyed an internship at Wells Fargo in Downtown Seattle.

From 2003-2010 you would have found me doing all things Maui and Hawaii as I owned and operated a very successful kayak and snorkel tour company there.

Moving forward from 2010, I'm focused exclusively on design and development work. I'm a dork. What can I say. I love doing design work.
